Merck, Moderna Stocks Soar After Melanoma Trial Success

Moderna and Merck shares rose Wednesday following release of a late-stage trial showing their mRNA vaccine reduced melanoma recurrence. The two companies jointly developed the vaccine tested in the trial. Bloomberg reported the stock gains followed the trial results announcement.
