Moderna and Merck announced results from a late-stage trial of a personalized cancer vaccine combined with Keytruda, a melanoma treatment. The combination extended the period patients lived without melanoma recurrence compared with Keytruda alone, according to the companies. The vaccine, called mRNA-4157/V940, is designed to target mutations specific to each patient's tumor.
