Trainline, Virgin Atlantic and RED Driving School investigated over 'drip pricing'

The Competition and Markets Authority began investigations into Trainline, Virgin Atlantic, and RED Driving School regarding their pricing practices. The watchdog is examining whether the companies display full prices to customers before the final stage of purchase. Drip pricing occurs when additional mandatory fees are added during the checkout process rather than being shown in the initial quoted price.
