Roz Brewer Talks College Aid, Walgreens During Covid and Retail

Rosalind Brewer, former CEO of Walgreens Boots Alliance and chair emerita of Spelman College, transitioned from working as an organic chemist at Kimberly-Clark to corporate leadership and did not return to laboratory work. Speaking at Bloomberg New Voices in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, Brewer stated that her timing joining Walgreens during the Covid-19 pandemic provided an opportunity to implement changes, noting that crises often create such opportunities. Brewer currently serves as chair emerita of Spelman College.
