China Trying to 'Run Out the Clock' on Trump Presidency, Says Shehzad Qazi

Shehzad Qazi, chief operating officer of China Beige Book, told Bloomberg that a planned September meeting between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping would likely maintain the existing trade arrangement between the two countries. Qazi said the meetings between the leaders serve to preserve the trade truce while China seeks to extend negotiations through the remainder of Trump's term.
