How NASA Engineers Are Keeping the Voyagers Alive

NASA engineers have modified the power systems of the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecraft to extend their operational lifespan. Both probes, launched in 1977, are currently operating in interstellar space. The modifications could allow the spacecraft to continue transmitting data into the early 2030s.
