Soon you can buy Medicare Advantage plans at Costco. What you need to know.

Costco began offering Medicare Advantage plans to its members in 2026, according to announcements from the company. The plans are available through Costco's website and in-warehouse enrollment centers. Medicare Advantage is an alternative to traditional Medicare in which private insurers provide coverage for hospital, medical, and prescription drug benefits under a contract with the federal government. Costco joins other retailers, including Walmart and Amazon, that have added health insurance offerings in recent years.
