New York Mets rookie Carson Benge made two outfield assists in a win over the San Diego Padres, throwing at 99.9 mph and 103.9 mph to throw out runners at home plate. Benge became the first outfielder to record two assists of 99 mph or greater since Statcast began tracking the metric.
