Tuesday, August 18, 2026
Chinese companies sold a net $1.2 billion in foreign exchange in July, the lowest monthly figure since November 2025, according to data released by China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange. The figure represents a decline from June's $3.8 billion in net sales. Chinese exporters typically sell foreign currency earned abroad to convert it into yuan for domestic operations.
