After 1,000 days of war: Many Israeli children carry trauma into summer break

Israeli children are beginning summer vacation following more than 1,000 days of war. According to a survey cited by Israeli media, 84% of children showed signs of emotional distress since October 7, 2023. Schools across Israel closed for the summer break while military operations continue in Gaza and Lebanon.
