Erin Patterson, convicted in Victoria of causing deaths through ricin poisoning at a family dinner in 2022, filed an appeal of her conviction in 2026. Patterson was sentenced to life imprisonment after being found guilty of two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder. The appeal process will proceed through Victoria's court system.
