Labour MP suspended as party launches investigation into Covid loans

Labour MP Alaba took out two taxpayer-funded loans during the pandemic and stated he did not attempt to avoid repaying them. The Labour Party launched an investigation into the matter. Alaba was suspended from the party pending the outcome of the investigation.
