Treasury 30-Year Yields Are Back at 2007 Highs

US Treasury 30-year yields reached levels last seen in 2007 on Monday, following stronger-than-expected Empire Manufacturing data and higher oil prices. The 10-year and 30-year portions of the yield curve extended gains during the US trading session. Steven Major, Global Macro Advisor at Tradition, commented on the rate environment to Bloomberg.
