Grooming gang leader released from prison

Shabir Ahmed, who led a grooming gang in Rochdale, was released from prison after serving his sentence. Ahmed was convicted and sentenced to 22 years in August 2012 for offenses against multiple victims. He had been referred to by that nickname by members of the group.
