AstraZeneca Reports Mixed Lung Cancer Trial Results

AstraZeneca halted a clinical trial of the experimental drug volrustomig after the medication failed to demonstrate superiority over existing lung cancer treatments. The company reported positive results from two separate late-stage trials in other cancer programs, including one involving patients with non-small cell lung cancer receiving a combination of Tagrisso and Orpathys.
