India Rupee, Bonds in Focus as RBI to End FCNR Deposit Window Early
Monday, August 17, 2026

The early closure could reduce the rupees available in the banking system. The Reserve Bank of India had opened the FCNR window in 2024 to attract foreign currency deposits from non-resident Indians.
