Government 'looking at every route' to deport grooming leader

Shabir Ahmed cannot be deported under the provisions of legislation enacted in 1969. The government has stated it is examining options to remove him from the country. Ahmed was convicted in 2012 of leading a grooming gang in Rotherham that sexually abused multiple victims.
