1 in 6 adults plagued by loneliness as researchers reveal lasting impact of COVID pandemic

A study of over 135,000 adults conducted by Imperial College London found that approximately one in six people reported feeling lonely often. The researchers noted that loneliness increased during the COVID-19 pandemic.
