Former Senator Kyrsten Sinema acknowledged an affair with security guard Matthew Ammel. The wife of Ammel filed an alienation of affection lawsuit against Sinema, a legal claim based on centuries-old tort law that allows a spouse to sue a third party for damages related to loss of consortium in a marriage.
