Serial killer survivor who escaped 18-hour captivity reveals instinct she wishes she never ignored

Kara Robinson Chamberlain was abducted by Richard Evonitz in 1999 when she was 15 years old and held captive for 18 hours before escaping. Evonitz had abducted and killed multiple victims in the 1990s across several states. Chamberlain has since become a public figure, hosting the podcast "Somebody Knows Something," which focuses on unsolved crimes and missing persons cases. Evonitz died by suicide in 2006 while being pursued by law enforcement.
