Pet goose’s honks alert family to barn fire, helping save dozens of birds

A pet goose alerted Bert Gerber to a fire in his barn by honking loudly enough to wake him. Gerber responded to the alert and was able to evacuate dozens of birds from the barn before the structure was destroyed.
