The Last Hurricane to Hit Hawaii Became a Movie Star

Hurricane Iniki struck Kauai in September 1992, resulting in at least seven deaths and an estimated 1.8 billion dollars in damage. The storm was later featured in the 1993 film "Jurassic Park," directed by Steven Spielberg, where scenes of the hurricane were incorporated into the movie.
