Iran rebuffs Trump's claim over Strait of Hormuz amid report of another ship being struck

Iran's deputy foreign minister stated that the Strait of Hormuz "will remain Iranian" in response to claims by U.S. President Trump that the waterway would become U.S. territory. The statement came as reports indicated another ship had been struck in the region. The Strait of Hormuz is a waterway between Iran and Oman through which roughly one-third of global maritime oil trade passes.
