Killer ex-cop executed for child's slaying as sheriff says he’s sure same monster murdered another girl

James Duckett, a former police officer, was executed for the 1987 death of Teresa McAbee. The sheriff stated he believes Duckett also killed Jeanifer Weldon in 1987, though Duckett was not convicted in that case. Families of both girls said the execution provided closure.
