Mangione Admits to Killing Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson

Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty in New York federal court on Friday to federal stalking charges related to the fatal shooting of Brian Thompson, a UnitedHealth Group Inc. executive, on December 4, 2024. Mangione admitted to shooting and killing Thompson. He faces a life sentence.
