Luigi Mangione Pleads Guilty in US Case Over CEO Killing

Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related to the December 2024 fatal shooting of UnitedHealth Group executive Brian Thompson. Thompson was shot in New York City on December 4, 2024. Mangione was arrested in Pennsylvania in December 2024 and subsequently extradited to New York. The guilty plea resolves the federal charges against him.
