Air Force athletes chasing Olympic dreams in between serving the nation in a critical time

Air Force athletes Anita Alvarez, Texas Tanner, and Wyatt Hendrickson are training for the 2028 Olympics through the World Class Athlete Program while continuing their service with the Air Force. WCAP allows military personnel to pursue elite athletic competition alongside their duties. The three athletes represent one of several service members currently balancing Olympic preparation with active military roles.
