Ian Frazier Wrote ‘Coyote v. Acme’ in 1990. Now It’s a Movie.

Ian Frazier's 1990 essay "Coyote v. Acme" has been adapted into a film. Frazier, a reporter and humorist, originally published the piece in The New Yorker as a parody legal brief imagining the Road Runner character suing the Acme Corporation for product defects. The essay was written in the format of a lawsuit complaint filed by the cartoon coyote against the fictional company.
