Police Report: Maine Democrat Troy Jackson Punched Man, Allegedly Pushed Partner Who Is His Second Cousin

Troy Jackson, the 2024 Maine Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, was charged with assault following a 1988 incident in which he punched a man, according to a police report. The same report documents that Lana Pelletier, Jackson's longtime partner and mother of his two children, told an officer that Jackson had pushed her. Jackson and Pelletier are second cousins, according to public records.
