Robeauté Bets on Rice-Sized Microrobots for Brain Disease
Friday, August 14, 2026
Robeauté, a French neurotechnology startup, is developing microrobots approximately the size of a grain of rice designed to deliver drugs and therapies directly into the brain. CEO Joana Cartocci stated the company is targeting first-in-human studies in 2027 and a market launch in the early 2030s. The microrobots are intended to reach brain areas that existing treatments cannot easily access.
