NYPD cop found guilty of chokehold in first conviction since restraint tactic banned after George Floyd death

Officer Andrew Kemp was convicted of using a chokehold during an arrest in 2023. New York City banned the restraint tactic in 2020 following George Floyd's death in Minneapolis.
