Gun rights groups capitalize after judge reverses decades-old restrictions: 'Monumental'

A federal judge ruled that decades-old National Firearms Act restrictions on silencer transfers were invalid. Gun Owners of America members subsequently completed silencer transfers without the registration process that had been required since 1934. The ruling came after legal challenges to the 1934 regulations.
