Apple and Epic argue over how much Apple should get from purchases made outside the App Store

Apple proposed in a legal filing that it collect fees on digital purchases made through external links that bypass its in-app purchase system, according to the filing in its dispute with Epic Games. Epic Games responded that Apple's proposal falls outside appropriate bounds for the case. The two companies have been litigating over Apple's app store policies and commission rates since 2020.
