Judge Orders Kalshi to Stop Offering Most Wagers in Washington

A judge ordered Kalshi, a prediction market platform, to stop offering most of its contracts in Washington state following a regulatory challenge. Washington state regulators argued the contracts constituted illegal gambling under state law. Kalshi had been offering wagers on events including elections and commodity prices through its platform.
