Netflix is closing two game studios

Netflix announced it will close two gaming studios as part of a strategic shift toward party games and titles designed for streaming on televisions. Night School Studio, which Netflix acquired in 2021 and created the Oxenfree series, is one of the studios being shut down. The studio recently released a horror experience titled Unhinged. Netflix did not name the second studio being closed or provide a timeline for the closures.
