Giffords Group Apoplectic That DOJ Didn't Fight Demise of 'Nearly 100 Years' of Suppressor Gun Control

A federal court ruling struck down the National Firearms Act requirement regulating suppressors, and the Department of Justice under the Trump administration did not appeal the decision. The Giffords Law Center, an organization focused on gun control policy, opposed the DOJ's choice not to contest the ruling. The suppressor regulation had been in place since the 1930s.
