Ford’s $28,000 Fathom EV nears production after $2 billion factory overhaul

Ford announced that its Fathom electric vehicle will enter production at its Louisville Assembly Plant in the first quarter of 2027, following a $2 billion facility overhaul. The plant is currently in the pre-tooling phase for production-level manufacturing. Ford has priced the Fathom at $28,000.
