We've flown a radiation-blocking vest to the Moon and back, and it worked

Researchers sent a radiation-blocking vest to the Moon aboard an uncrewed spacecraft and returned it to Earth to test its effectiveness. The vest uses shielding materials designed to protect astronauts from cosmic radiation and solar radiation exposure during lunar missions. Test data from the mission showed the vest reduced radiation exposure compared to unshielded conditions.
