Three states prepare to execute killers Thursday in same-day event not seen since 2010

Three men are scheduled to be executed by lethal injection Thursday in Tennessee, Alabama, and Oklahoma. According to the death penalty information center, the last time three executions occurred on the same day in the United States was in 2010. The executions are scheduled to proceed unless legal appeals or stays are granted.
