Biden-era directive for diplomats to peddle DEI on foreign governments scrapped by State Department

The State Department under the Biden administration issued guidance to diplomats instructing them to raise diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility issues, as well as LGBTQI+ topics, during bilateral negotiations with foreign governments. The Trump administration's State Department subsequently rescinded these directives in 2025.
