CBP Workers Allegedly Used Government Databases to Spy on Exes, Crushes, and Colleagues

Customs and Border Protection workers faced hundreds of allegations of misusing internal government databases to look up information on romantic interests and track colleagues' cell phone locations, according to records obtained by WIRED. The allegations involved accessing CBP tools without official authorization for personal purposes. CBP did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the scope or status of investigations into the reported misuse.
