Los Angeles Lakers buyer, ex-Disney chief Bob Iger once said rooting for team was 'not in my DNA'

Bob Iger, the former Disney chief executive, is part of a group purchasing the Los Angeles Lakers for $12.5 billion. In a previous conversation with Lakers coach JJ Redick, Iger stated he could not root for the Lakers because he is a longtime New York Knicks fan. The sale represents one of the largest sports franchise transactions on record.
