Raiders' No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza will get 'plenty of experience' in preseason debut Thursday

Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said Fernando Mendoza, the team's No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, will play in Thursday's preseason game and receive substantial playing time. Kubiak did not specify how many snaps or quarters Mendoza would play. Mendoza was drafted first overall by the Raiders in 2026.
