JCB Hydromax's shatters a world record with ‘extraordinary’ speeds topping 400 mph in hydrogen-powered car

Andy Green drove the JCB Hydromax to 406 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats, surpassing the previous hydrogen-powered vehicle speed record by more than 220 mph. The vehicle is powered by hydrogen fuel cells. JCB, a construction equipment manufacturer, developed the Hydromax as a hydrogen-powered land speed record vehicle.
