Illegal immigrant charged with brutal slaying one day after California judge released him

Marcos Iriarte-Valdez was released by a California judge on his own recognizance. The following day, Stewart, age 68, was stabbed in Martinez. Iriarte-Valdez was charged in connection with Stewart's death.
