Grubhub’s $24M FTC settlement is finally reaching diners and drivers

Grubhub is distributing refunds from a $23.8 million settlement with the Federal Trade Commission over its business practices. The FTC alleged that Grubhub charged restaurants and drivers fees that were not clearly disclosed and misrepresented its earnings claims to delivery workers. Checks from the settlement are being mailed to affected customers and drivers.
