Florida deputy killed ex-girlfriend over a TV, then himself, sheriff says

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced that deputy Troy Savetz killed his ex-girlfriend before taking his own life. According to Ivey, Savetz had waited outside the woman's home armed and angry over a television set before abducting her while her children called 911 from inside the residence. The incident occurred in Brevard County, Florida. Savetz was employed by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office at the time of the incident.
