Texas mom accused of killing 3-year-old daughter captured in Mexico after nearly 30 years on the run

Maria Narez was captured in Mexico after fleeing Texas in 1997 before trial in the death of her 3-year-old daughter, Kasandra White. Narez had been wanted on a capital murder charge related to the child's death. A joint effort by authorities resulted in her apprehension. She was extradited to face trial in Texas.
