Brendan Carr is one firing away from an unchecked FCC

The FCC is currently composed of two Republicans and one Democrat. President Trump nominated Brendan Carr, a Republican commissioner, to chair the agency. If confirmed by the Senate, the FCC would have three Republicans and one Democrat, giving Republicans a 3-1 majority. The FCC regulates telecommunications, broadcasting, and other communications systems in the United States.
