Activist Investor Elliott Demands Board Revamp at Northern Star

Elliott Investment Management LP, which holds a stake in Northern Star Resources Ltd., nominated six board candidates and called for a board overhaul at the Australian gold mining company. Elliott stated the changes would restore market confidence in the company. Northern Star is Australia's largest gold miner by market capitalization.
